Argentine Red Prawns are plump, naturally pink when raw and have a sweet lobster like taste.  “Peeled and Deveined” have shells removed and are ideal for cooking in BC Coastal Cedar Wraps on your BBQ or in your Oven.

Health Benefits:
Let’s say Wild Prawns are Seafood that is created the way nature intended.  Wild prawns are not only a cleaner option compared to farmed, but carry a significantly lower sodium levels as well.  Naturally rich in protein and low in calories, prawns are an excellent source of amino acids, which play a key role in the formation of digestive enzymes, hormones and tissues, such as skin and bone.  In addition, prawns contain two fatty acids of the omega-3 family, which benefit the cardiovascular system.

Safe Handling Instructions:
Keep frozen until use. Thaw in the refrigerator.  Cook to an internal temperature of 72degrees Celsius or 160 degrees Fahrenheit. Refrigerate leftovers.  Always wash hands before and after handling.

Suggested Cooking


Grill – Season and roll in Western Red Cedar Cooking Wraps and cook for 3~5mins on your BBQ or place on a sheet pan for cooking in your oven to release the flavours of the West Coast Rain Forest.  Skewer and Grill directly on your BBQ for 3~4 mins per side
Pan Fry – 3~4mins per side over medium heat and serve over rice or pasta. Sautee the Patagonian way with Olive Oil, Sea Salt, Garlic, Black Pepper and Cilantro.  Add a squeeze of lemon just before serving.
Boil – For 3mins and serve with Garlic Butter….
