The Macallan brings new Oak from America across thousands of miles to Spain, where casks are crafted and sherry-seasoned before traveling to the distillery in Speyside, where they are filled and matured for at least 12 years. These whiskies are then harmoniously united with those aged in exceptional sherry-seasoned European Oak casks. The delicate flavour of American Oak, vanilla, citrus and light Oak, rises in prominence as the traditional Macallan European Oak character of dried fruit and wood spice affords a familiar backdrop. The result is a fresh and approachable style of Macallan, rich in flavour, honeyed and indulgent, with a fantastic viscous mouthfeel. Suitable for all occasions, Double Cask 12 Years Old will appeal to existing and new Macallan drinkers alike, also serving as the perfect complement to its slightly more robust counterpart, the Sherry Oak 12 Years Old.

Liquor purchases are fulfilled through our partner Spinnakers Spirit Merchants, Liquor License #195209.
In order to receive your alcohol order, you must be at home upon delivery and provide a valid photo ID that matches the name on the order. BCause is unable to leave alcohol orders on doorsteps/mail rooms/apartment lobbies or similar.
If, for any reason, you are unable to be home to receive your alcohol order please notify BCause at info@shopbcause.ca so we can reschedule your delivery. If we miss you, we will be sure to call or email you to arrange a second delivery attempt. If, after the second attempt BCause is unable to reach you, your alcohol order will be returned and a refund will be automatically processed less your $4.99 handling fee.
